The Free 2 Be program was created by Compassion NWA in the spring of 2016 with the idea of helping elementary children in the most poverty stricken area’s of Northwest Arkansas. To that end Compassion NWA has begun partnering with local elementary schools to provide necessary items that school counselors, teachers, & administrators can use throughout the day and week to provide needs for children while they are at school. These needs include food, clothing, laundry supplies as well as health & hygiene aides. At Compassion NWA we believe that every child deserves the freedom to be happy, to be healthy, to be well fed, and the freedom to just be a kid. The chance for a child to have a successful education and a care free childhood are greatly diminished by the circumstances brought on by poverty. You can help a child’s chance for a successful education and enhanced experience at school free from the worry of need by donating to Compassion NWA in the following ways.
Online Financial Donation:
This type of donation is always the best way to ensure that the proper items and amount of items are being secured for each partner school. Through Compassion NWA connections we are able to make our buying power go further and therefore achieve greater results.
